Have you ever discovered how flammable nail polish is?

If you have, how?

If you haven't, how will you find out?Have you ever discovered how flammable nail polish is?
Actually yes! Caught my nail on fire once! It was an accident! No really! I swear! What?!?Have you ever discovered how flammable nail polish is?
Interesting question. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all nail polishes are flammable to some degree. Here are a couple of links. Maybe these will help you find the answers you are looking for? I hope so! Good luck.

I haven't..

I have a box full of nail polish, the whole rainbow and different shades (: Cause i frequently paint my nails each week.

But i'll check on this question later for an answer. I'll find out then !

Im giving you a star :D

I never heard of a question like this before.

Im 13 btw.
Flammable, hmm. I tried it out, and I read the lable, I turns out some nail polish is like hairspray. Its pretty flammable so don't straighten and curl your hair while painting, it hurts to burn, but I got it under control!
????
set it alight
Put it in water.
read the label?
Lighting it on fire?

Does anyone know how to remove nail polish from jeans?

I just bought a pair of jeans for Christmas I haven't even wear them yet and I spilt nail polish on them by accident I really like them I would like to see if there is something I can do with them before thinking of throwing them away????!!!!!!Does anyone know how to remove nail polish from jeans?
You could try using goo be gone or even some finger nail polish remover.Does anyone know how to remove nail polish from jeans?
try nail polish remover...in moderation though...the polish remover could further ruin the jeans. But, i guess if the nail polish has damaged them to the point that you are thinking of tossing them out, then i don't see why it would hurt to try polish remover.

I have done this before with my daughters purple Swede jacket and it came out just fine.

Just stretch the stained area as far as you can,get an old, clean wash cloth and remove the thick top layer of the nail polish..scratching at it a little if you need to.

Then there will still be more color on the jeans.stretch material out as far as you can and saturate the stained area repeatedly in polish remover with the rag or cotton balls or pouring it on there if you want.until the stain is gone. Each time you use the polish remover it will break up the polish so don't give up too easily. Then run the area under water to remove as much of the polish remover as you can. Then toss them in the washing machine following the dirrections on the tag.If you are unable to remove the polish all the way....do not dry the jeans.
take non-acetone nailpolish remover

put some on a cotton ball - not a towel or q-tips - it must be a cotton ball.

Do not soak the cotton ball - it should be SLIGHTLY DAMP - not dripping.

Tap the cotton ball onto the polidh spot on your jeans - TAP do not rub! If you rub, you will get a larger stain and not be able to get it out.

As the polish on your jeans gets a little damp, get a fresh, dry cotton ball and and tap on the spot to draw up the liquified polish. Again, do not rub - rubbling will deepen and enlarge the polish stain.

Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

Do know that this may not remove all of the polish, but it will substanially reduce it to a minimum.

This will take some time. Do not rush.
Try non acetone fingernail polish remover.

Can I use acrylic paint as nail polish?

I have acrylic paint, and im wondering if it can be used as a substitute for nail polish. Can I use acrylic paint as nail polish?
it will peel and get scratched easily. it also will have a matte (in a bad way) not refined polished look. It will probably be pretty obvious that its paint too. get cruddy around your cuticiles lol and the texture is just way off. i dont suggest it, but hey..i do rando things like such when im bored. i would say ';i was bored'; is an acceptable reason :PCan I use acrylic paint as nail polish?
It won't have a very nice finish and it will chip super easy. Acrylic paint is great for design work on the nails, provided that you use a clear top coat, but as a stand alone nail polish it's terrible.
it will come off too easily.... i think it will only last a few days at most
  • colorsilk
  • Why does my nail polish chip after I take a hot shower?

And how do i prevent that? Why does my nail polish chip after I take a hot shower?
It's probably not a good nail polish.

Try putting more than one coat of color on, then a hardening, clear top coat. Why does my nail polish chip after I take a hot shower?
its cheap nail polish. try a hardening top coat.

How much does nail polish cost?

Good quality nail polish that's not too expensive ^^How much does nail polish cost?
5 -10 Dollars Each... this is good quality. the ones that do not damage your nails or stain them and etcHow much does nail polish cost?
Don't pay 2-10 dollars for nail polsih. waste of money

Go to cvs, walgreens, rite aid and you can get tons of colors of nail polish 99 cents each

sometimes the little rack is hard to find. but its usually n end cap
Wet n Wild nail polishes work alright they chip easily but that's something you can expect since there cheap. If you want a nail polish that's a good quality try using Avon.
    2-7

depends on the brand or its quality
wet n wild is good, not the BEST at all, but its inexpensive, its a couple of bucks at walmart
    3 to 7

The top layer of my nail comes off after taking of nail polish. what should i do?

for the past few weeks whenever i took off nailpolish and after a few minutes my top layer of the nail came off. not the whole thing but just a little. The top layer of my nail comes off after taking of nail polish. what should i do?
I believe it has something to do with you lacking in a vitamin, I think its etiher iron or calcium. Drink milk :]

Or you can get a fingernail polish with vitamins in it. Local grocery store should carry something like that. The top layer of my nail comes off after taking of nail polish. what should i do?
that happened to me too!! just get a soft buffer type thing, and softly buff your nails. I don't know why it (';it'; being the top bit of your nail coming off) happens, but if it gets worst go and see a doctor and he can refer you to a nail person.

    Hope this helps!!
Use a base coat. It prevents the nail polish from damaging your fingernails.
