Is there anything that will bring purple finger nail polish out of clothes?

Might as well try 100 % acetone, since its already messed upIs there anything that will bring purple finger nail polish out of clothes?
Scissors and a nifty iron on patch. Is there anything that will bring purple finger nail polish out of clothes?
I have this recipe book of my mother's where a bunch of people share recipes and create a cookbook. Somebody compiled a list in it of all the tough stains and how to get them out. There's a method for nail polish, and you should know EVERY method i've used from this book has worked.

Plus a few times I answered some questions on here and the asker said it worked for them too.

Nail Polish:

Sponge with polish remover or banana oil. Wash. If stain remains, sponge with denatured alcohol to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. Wash again.

Do not use polish remover on acetate or triacetate fabrics - use the banana oil for these.

Good luck, and happy washing!
nail polish remover
Try acetone, but be careful because if the proof is too high it may take some of the color out of the clothes as well.
yes PETROL no smocking though
If the clothes are cotton you can probably use finger nail polish remover. If they are a synthetic such as polyester or nylon or rayon the polish remover might eat a hole in them. Try somewhere on the garment that doesn't show and see what happens.
